Kerri Becker
SDEP® Certified Clinical Sonographer
SDEP® certified clinical sonographer Kerri Becker brings enthusiasm, compassion, and a lifelong love for animals to New Jersey Mobile, with a deep-rooted passion for animal care that began in childhood. Raised with a heart for helping animals, she often surprised her family by sneaking in baby wildlife, puppies, and kittens needing a little extra love. While she originally dreamed of becoming a zoologist, a college opportunity at a veterinary clinic quickly shifted her path—and she has never looked back.
From 2013 to 2021, Kerri managed two veterinary practices in Wayne and Riverdale, NJ, for a husband-and-wife veterinary team. After the practices were sold, she transitioned into a senior technician role in Oakland, NJ. Her journey into diagnostic ultrasound was inspired by a personal experience with her beloved dog Walter, who was diagnosed via ultrasound. The clarity and comfort that diagnosis provided solidified her desire to pursue this powerful diagnostic tool as a career, ultimately leading her to the Sonopath team.
Today, Kerri works as a mobile sonographer for New Jersey Mobile (fueled by SonoPath), traveling across New Jersey to bring high-quality ultrasound services to veterinary clinics. She continues to sharpen her skills by assisting at SDEP® labs and engaging with Sonopath’s extensive online resources and training.
Outside of her clinical work, Kerri shares her home with two dogs, Goose and Kiya, and starts each day with a bike ride before heading out on the road for New Jersey Mobile. Kerri also owns a bridal hair company Bridal By Kerri, traveling to venues to style brides on their big day. In the spring, she rehabilitates baby wildlife – when she visits your clinic, ask her which animal her favorite is to rehab.
